How is the Vocational Qualification Exam Held?

Vocational Qualification Exam consists of different sections and different exam types (Theoretical, Performance, and Interview).

For example, a candidate who applies to Scaffold Installer Level 3 must pass all examinations of the following units.

  • 12UY0056-3 / A1 Occupational Health and Safety and Organization of Work

  • 12UY0056-3 / A2 Scaffolding Installation, Control, Disassembly, and Storage Operations

Theoretical Written Test Exam in A1 and A2 units.

The performance exam is based on A2 unit.

Each unit's passing grade, number of questions, and exam time may vary. So you can take an exam with 10 questions 10 minutes from the A1 unit and 25 minutes from 20 questions from the A2 unit. If you pass the A1 in the Theoretical Test and fail in A2, the next time you take the exam, you are only expected to pass A2 exam.

A successful unit is valid for 12 months. If the other units are not successful for 12 months, the validity of the current unit will not be valid, and the exam will be required again.

If you pass 60 percent of the written exams and 80 percent of the performance exams for the Scaffold Installer, you can get the certificate.

You are expected to perform the profession in the performance exam.

For example, in the Scaffolding Installer examination, the scaffolding will be expected to be installed and dismantled.
