What is ISO 17024?

The TS EN ISO IEC 17024 Standard is the standard that sets out the general requirements for organizations engaged in conformity assessment and personnel certification. It was prepared by ISO Committee and approved by CEN in 2012.

TS EN ISO IEC 17024 standard is a useful approach to “personnel capabilities.” This approach significantly improves business performance for the organization. It also reveals the importance and value of staff certification.

The standard includes many requirements for the implementation of staff certification and development of certification schemes for the quality management system to ensure the continuity and development of many essential features also in accordance with the specific requirements of the regulation, including the requirements for personnel certification organizations that carry out the process.

Accreditation bodies, which are accredited as personnel certification bodies, are given the right to use their own logo, that is, to use their own image authority. It is also necessary for personnel certification bodies to be financially and economically independent and their financial and economic resources are examined by accreditation bodies.

The accreditation standard No. 17024, in general terms, is the whole of the rules that companies that are accredited by TÜRKAK and audited by VQA and which are not inconvenient to conduct exams.
